Course Overview

This is the most conclusive first aid course for the workplace. The First Aid at Work qualification is the choice of many employers to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations when dealing with high risk work environments.

Who is this course for?

The QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations; typically those working in construction, retail outlets and other customer-facing environments.

This course is delivered over a timescale of 18 hours, which can be taught over 3 days.

As this course is regulated by QNUK, it requires learners to pass a multiple choice exam at the end of the course consisting of 40 questions, of which 28 is considered a pass. 

The exam is one part of the course, the other is that learners are able to physically demonstrate the skills learnt, therefore assessment of these skills are required too. Learners will need to be physically fit and able to complete to issue a regulated certificate.

Certificates for this course last for 3 years, after which the learner would need to redo the qualification to continue using the certificate for work purposes.

If we are booked to deliver this course at your premises, we will require there to be a suitable venue which is quiet and away from the general workplace. Tables, chairs and room for projection of presentation are a minimum however we will go through everything at the time of booking.

This course is accredited by Qualifications Network UK, a provider of OfQual qualifications. For the purposes of HSE,  no requirement for due diligence is required on the training as it is a regulated qualification.

There are no prerequisites for this course, however a good understanding of English is required.
