Paediatric First Aid

This course is designed for those who work within a childcare setting, or primarily come into contact with children. It is the staple course for many childminders, nurseries, after school clubs and other child-based industries. Whilst ideal for employees, it is the ideal course for those who want to learn more about first aid for children. This course is suitable for the workplace and meets are the standards required by EYFS.

Assessment

As we offer QNUK regulated qualifications, learners will need to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have learn’t. In order for a certificate to be issued candidates will have to complete a 30 question multiple choice exam and will be asked by the trainer to demonstrate practical elements of the course. The trainer is able to assist those who may have difficulties in completing the assessment criteria, we ask you advise us prior to the course start so we may make provisions if required.

Certificate

This is a regulated qualification. No Due Diligence required. Click here to see the HSE’s stance on first aid training requirements

On completion of the course, learners will receive a Ofqual regulated qualification of which is valid for three years. After this period candidates will need to resit the course again, no re-qualification course. The HSE recommend Annual Skills Updates of which we can provide either as an open course, as an in-house or as an online course.
