YITC started life in 2016, where Ash Hunt became a first aid trainer and since then the company has grown and became Yeovil’s ultimate training venue. YITC has become more than just a first aid centre, we are regulated to deliver health & safety training, fire safety courses, mental health and wellness courses, and we’re not stopping there.
We have plans over the next year to provide training courses in different subjects. We actively seek different courses that we believe our customers will enjoy and engage with, and will be going into other sectors.
Be part of YITC
If you are a trainer or wish to get involved in becoming a trainer, we have the skills and knowledge to get you there. Whilst we have core subjects that we teach already, we would be excited to hear from you with the view of laying on courses that suit your skill set. It takes a lot of work to become an expert in a subject and we understand the needs of our customers that means we will only work with those who are qualified within their field of interest.
Why we are different
At YITC we aim to be different from other providers. Yes you can book a course with another provider but here are three reasons to choose us over them:
By providing you with OFQUAL regulated courses, this takes the need of any Due Diligence away from employers. This is turn means you can spend more time doing other things and not having to worry that the training is irrelevant, improper and in date. Plus we don’t charge extra for this service as some other providers would do. By providing these qualifications, this also gives you confidence that our trainers are fully experienced and qualified to deliver the course you are on.
Our Price Promise
We believe that training should be fun, engaging and a great experience, that includes receiving an invoice. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you could save on your courses, so much so that if you find a cheaper provider with a like for like course, we’ll match it and beat it by 5%. Check out our Price Promise for further details.
Our Course Promise
We have been on the other side of training, the side where you search for a provider, book onto a course and then they cancel the course a week before. This not only leaves a sour taste in your mouth about the provider but also leaves you without the training. We are committed to running our open courses regardless of numbers, meaning the course you book is the course you attend. If numbers are low we contact those who are booked on and give the option of either carrying on or transfering to another course, free of charge.
